Mal is the proud long-time local owner of the business. He started grade 1 at Mooloolaba State Primary School and finished his schooling at Maroochydore State High School. Mal then went on to enjoy a long and successful career in the building industry, during this time he traveled throughout Queensland working on a wide range of building projects giving him the knowledge he uses today as an inspector. Mal obtained his builders licence in 1992 which then led him to commence his career in the building and pest inspection field in 1997, establishing what is now the leading building and pest inspection company on the Sunshine Coast.

Lachlan
Apprentice - 2017Lachlan is our school based apprentice carpenter, being on site on Thursdays with a team of carpenters is a great step up in life for this young man. Lachlan’s goal is to become a fully licensed builder by the age of 21. Sunshine coast Building and Pest Reports takes great pride in giving back to the building industry and local community and we wish Lachlan all the best and will continue to support him throughout his apprenticeship.

Apprentice - 2018We would like to congratulate Lachlan on completing Year 12 and receiving Busy At Work Apprentice of The Year! Lachlan has also been approached to be nominated for the Queensland Apprentice of the Year next year, we wish him the very best of luck for that award. Lachlan will continue his apprenticeship in 2019 moving him closer to his goal of obtaining his builders’ licence.
